Here are your top 12! You know judges…they can’t just decide on 10, so we came to common ground on this dozen HAWT legs.
Sometimes it was the pose, sometimes it was the SHOES, sometimes the well defined *please let that be me one day* calves, and sometimes it was *ahem* the tube socks.
But these were the 12 that the judges (Ok, Me, Janine, and Stan from Pacific Shaving Company) agreed were the HAWTEST legs at Blogher 09…and voting starts now and runs through August 7…

We (@Twincident, @Shortpumppreppy and @PacificShaving) will pick the top 10 and post them on Thursday which is when voting starts. (Voting is July 31st through August 7th)
Want to be in the top 10? We don’t accept bribes (or threats) but if we see lots of comments here for you it might be a little persuasive. Just sayin.
We searched high and low (well, mostly low seeing as we had to get down on the ground to photograph everyone’s legs) for the best legs at Blogher09.
We gave people the opportunity to submit their own legs via Twitter or email.
We included men, women, superstars, blog stars, and your average Jane and Joe.
We begged,connived, and then surprisingly had a line of people wanting us to take a photo of their legs for the contest!
We laughed, we celebrated, and….we felt a little dirty to be perfectly honest….but we persevered and I think all the contestants deserve a round of applause for hiking up their skirts and pants legs and putting their calves out there for everyone on Twitter, Whrrl, and this blog to judge.
So, may I present you, the Best Legs contestants via Whrrl!

And this is how lunch starts at my all-time favorite Chicago eatery.
Sure, there are classier joints with juicy steaks and good wine.
But I love Ed Debevic’s with the greasy burgers, salty fries, snarky waiters, and paper hats.
“Hey! Why don’t you put your phone down and talk to your friends!”
The decor is 50’s diner. The costumes range from 50s to 60’s, our lumberjack was most definitely 70’s and punk 80’s. A balloonist entertains kids while the parents have to beg waiters for the hats, “No. Not now. Maybe later.”
“Hey! Boring table! You wanna refill?”, the waitress screams over to her table as we’re walking out.
A must see in Chicago, if you are a fan of crazy, wacky or downright obnoxious fun, this is THE place for you.
Again, what to do when you are at a conference but NOT AT the conference?
Take a segway tour! The most fun event of the weekend. We were thrilled to hook up with the tour through CitySegwayTours.com, who also have locations in other cities around the country.
The best part aside from the AMAZING Ryan, our tourguide… the view from Adler Planetarium. And as Janine says “just getting to ride the segway is SOOO cool”.
And we didn’t fall once.

If you think you’ve got the Best Legs just take a photo of them and submit it anytime during BlogHer 09 weekend (July 23-26, 2009). We’ll pick the top 10 set of legs and post them here for all the world (and more importantly your friends) to see and voting will start July 30th, 2009. The best part – you DO NOT have to be at BlogHer to participate!
Here’s how to enter.
1. Subscribe to BTS Moms (so you don’t miss the top 10 announcement, and the alert of when voting starts)
2. Take a photo of your legs and put your blog URL or Twitter ID on the photo (so we know how to contact you). We don’t care how you get that information in there…write it on your legs, Photoshop it, or write it on a piece of paper and include that in the photo – whatever works best for you.

Yes, we are good. If there was ever a reason to follow the BTSMoms, this is it!
No conference pass to Blogher, HOW SAD…when they sold out, we were, well….we were deciding if we wanted to go or not. Janine and I had met at Blissdom 09 and as roomies there, we quickly became “roomies for life”. When the idea kicked in, and we had a hotel room and a bunch of ideas on how to promote a brand, we decided we needed a way to pay for it. Who needs passes; we have a room and a bunch of light bulbs going off in our heads!!
Let’s face it. We may run Buzz Cooperative now, but Janine and I have always felt more like Frick and Frack. Except that now Frick and Frack are armed with unique ideas and, for lack of a better word, ‘BALLS’ (direct quote from an instant message discussion we had)! And that’s when Stan came into the picture. We started putting the word out about some of our “totally effing innovative” ideas (again, I quote Janine from her amped up IMs) and Stan was all over it like my dog on his ‘special’ hump toy.
Through a series of humorous emails, hilarious brainstorming sessions and, to be perfectly honest a little bit of begging (shhh – Janine think she played hardball), Stan “got” the genius of the BTSMoms and how we’ll promote his All Natural Shaving Oil to everyone inside AND OUTSIDE the conference. He simply couldn’t resist forking over some moolah to defray our costs so we could play in Chi-town for a few days. (Yay Pacific Shaving Company!)
